A new compound, 4-O-caffeoyl-D-glucopyranose (1), and a new natural product, 3-O-caffeoyl-D-glucopyranose (2), together with six known compounds (3-8) were isolated from the aerial parts of Lygodium japonicum. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic data analyses.
