A new phenolic glycoside, 4-propionyl-2,6-dimethoxyphenyl beta-D-glucopyranoside (1) and a new trans-clerodane diterpene named 19-deacetylconyzalactone (2), were isolated from the aerial parts of Conyza blinii.
A new diterpenoid glycoside, 14,15-dinor-labdan-13-one-8-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside (1), was isolated from Conyza blinii. The structure of this new arabinoside was elucidated on the basis of extensive NMR and HRMS spectroscopy. In addition, the presence of 3R-hydroxyoctadecanoic acid in C. blinii
Conyza blinii H.Lév. is a widely used medicinal herb in southwestern China. The main pharmacological components of C. blinii are a class of oleanane-type pentacyclic triterpene glycosides known as conyzasaponins, which are thought to be synthesized from β-amyrin. However, no genes involved in the
