OBJECTIVE
To investigate the detrimental effects of hemorrhagic shock on the structure and function of mitochondria DNA (mtDNA) encoding cytochrome oxidase genes in intestinal epithelial cells.
METHODS
Wistar rats were used and divided into two groups: hemorrhagic shock group and control group.
