Migraine and enuresis in children: An unusual correlation?
Ключевые слова
абстрактный
Several reports in the medical literature suggest the existence of a correlation and/or comorbidity between sleep disorders and headache, linked to probably common pathophysiological substrates. Undoubtedly, migraine and primary nocturnal enuresis (PNE) are different diseases, normally diagnosed and evaluated in independent way even if it is possible to find some common points. The possible consequences of our ideas are that PNE could be considered as migraine equivalent, such as a "periodic syndrome", and the treatment and care of migraine cannot exclude the causal role of sleep disorders.
