Three types with six new carboline alkaloids, trigonostemonines A-F (1- 6), were isolated from the roots and stems of Trigonostemon lii. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analyses. It is the first time that beta-carboline alkaloids have been reported in Trigonostemon species.
A phytochemical work on the alkaloid constituents from Trigonostemon lii Y.T. Chang was conducted to give six new β-carboline alkaloids, trigonostemines A-F (1-6) and eight known β-carboline alkaloids (7-14). Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic techniques including 2D NMR
A phytochemical investigation of the alkaloid constituents from Trigonostemon filipes Y. T. Chang et S. L. Mo led to the isolation of two new indole alkaloids, trigonostemine G (1) and trigonostemone J (2), together with two known ones, trigonostemine A (3) and trigonostemine B (4). Their structures
A new carboline alkaloid, 1-(7-methoxy-quinolinyl-4'-yl)-3,4-dihydro-β-carboline (1), was isolated from the leaves and twigs of Trigonostemon lii Y.T. Chang, together with three known ones, trigonostemonines C and D (2 and 3), and trigonoliimine A (4). Their structures were elucidated by
Six unprecedented bisindole alkaloids, trigolutesins A and B (1-2) with a unique polycyclic skeleton and trigolutes A-D (3-6) with another polycyclic skeleton, were isolated from the twigs of Trigonostemon lutescens. Their structures and relative configurations were elucidated by spectroscopic data
Three unprecedented indole alkaloids, trigonoliimines A-C (1-3) with a unique polycyclic system, were isolated from the leaves of Trigonostemon lii Y. T. Chang. The structures of 1-3 were determined by the spectroscopic, computational, and CD exciton chirality approaches. Trigonoliimine A showed
Phytochemical investigation on the stem bark and wood of Trigonostemon chinensis led to the isolation of four new dinorditerpenoids, trigonostemons A-D (1, 3, 5, 6), a new phenanthrenone, trigonostemon E (7), and a new bisindole alkaloid, trigonostemon F (8). The structures were established by
